Winter Camp (Chapter Five)
This morning all our Chinese students went to Marseilles Junior High School to experience some courses of innovative qualities. In the afternoon, the French and Chinese students headed for the Fjord to amuse themselves.
To be specific, in the morning at Marseilles Junior High School, our students displayed their hand-made dessert, fed the chickens, extirpated weeds and got acquainted with the local plants.
Most of the pictures taken from this morning’s course experience came from Wang Ruihan’s mother, one of the accompanying parents. During this winter camp, she recorded each scene and moment by her cell phone as well as publicized and reported the itinerary in time via her WeChat. More noticeably, many parents felt more relieved when they saw their children’s figure and status through the precious camera shots.
Moreover, Wang Ruihan’s mother not only took many photos, but also cared about each student as if she were a leading teacher, which let us realize that Anqing Foreign Language School’s development depended on parents’ support. What’s more, the activities initiated by Anqing Foreign Language School needed parents’ cooperation. Only with their support and collaboration could our school become better and better! Hereby we extended our thanks to Wang Ruihan’s mother!
At midday, we continued to have lunch in the school canteen. When we got there, we found that the school particularly prepared Chinese food for us. More remarkably, all the teachers and students from Marseilles Junior High School were served Chinese cuisine.
To conclude, after lunch, we rested a little while on campus. After we gathered together, led by teacher Fu, more than 30 teachers and students from France and China took the bus first, followed by half-an-hour walk on the mountain before we finally reached another fantastic scenic spot in Marseilles--the Fjord.
